Vengeance

So, I released Vengeance last week at $.99 without my editor touching it yet. I did it because I wanted to keep my deadline for a special reader who sent me a very touching email. She has terminal cancer and wanted me to finish the book so she could read it on her Kindle before her time was up. I lost her email (as I was going to send her a free copy) and found that I must have deleted it in error (Dumb, dumb, dumb!). Anyway, I felt horrible, but fortunately, she sent me another email after I released Vengeance, thanking me for finishing the book. So, yes, there are errors and I'm sure I will get slack for it, but knowing that she is able to read it, that I could do this one small thing for Cynthia is all that matters. I'm truly honored.

I can't imagine anyone who would be insensitive enough to criticize you for a few minor typos and/or grammatical errors once they learn why the book was released without a final check by your editor. I think you should include the information on the product page and if they can't handle it, they can simply opt to wait for the revised edition...and the higher price.

Kristen, you ROCK for doing that for a fan. Cynthia, I pray the Lord blesses you and you get the time to start, and finish, many more books and series. God bless.
